THE OPPORTUNITY
Area Vice President Asia
Fastly is seeking an experienced regional sales leader to accelerate its growth across Southeast Asia. As AVP Sales – Asia, you will own the regional P&L, lead a seasoned go-to-market team, and drive new business acquisition and customer expansion.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping Fastly’s APAC footprint — developing a unified GTM plan, deepening strategic partnerships, and building a culture of excellence across sales, channel, marketing, and technical functions.
This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of enterprise sales, cloud technology, and high-performance teams.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and scale Fastly’s sales organisation in Asia, ensuring alignment with regional and global GTM objectives.

Develop and execute a data-driven business plan to acquire, grow, and retain enterprise customers.

Partner cross-functionally with Channel, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver a unified customer experience.

Establish and maintain strong executive relationships with key customers and partners.

Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline discipline, and operational excellence across the sales cycle.

Represent Fastly externally — at industry forums, media engagements, and strategic partner events — as a visible ambassador of the brand.

Build and coach a high-performing sales team that reflects Fastly’s culture of trust, inclusion, and continuous learning.
Ideal Profile

10+ years’ experience leading enterprise technology sales teams across Asia, with a focus on CDN, edge, or cloud security solutions.

Proven success growing revenue for a US-headquartered technology company in APAC.

Strong existing network within large enterprise and digital-native accounts across the region.

Track record of delivering new business growth as both an individual contributor and sales leader.

Deep understanding of regional channel ecosystems and partner-led GTM motions.

Commercially rigorous — adept at complex deal structuring, pricing, and negotiation.

Collaborative and empathetic leadership style; known for building trust internally and externally.

Fluent in English; other regional languages a plus.
