THE OPPORTUNITY

Vice President APAC

AU10TIX is accelerating its expansion in Asia Pacific & Japan and is appointing a VP APAC to lead commercial strategy, revenue generation, and regional market development. This is a high-impact, autonomous leadership role that combines strategic vision with hands-on execution.

 

The VP will build and scale AU10TIX’s presence across priority markets, engage senior enterprise customers, and lead the evolution of a world-class regional commercial organisation. It’s a rare chance to shape the future of digital identity and fraud prevention in one of the fastest-growing technology markets globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and drives revenue growth across APAC.

  • Build, guide and mentor a high-performing sales team. Foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, markets, and verticals. Drive the expansion of the company’s footprint and ensure sustained revenue growth.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  • Collaborate with other departments in the organization to ensure alignment and streamline sales efforts. Report regularly to the executive team on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.

Ideal Profile

​The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial leader with a strong track record of building and scaling enterprise revenue across APAC, particularly within regulated industries such as financial services, payments, fintech, or crypto. This individual brings deep hands-on selling experience, and demonstrates exceptional discipline around pipeline management, qualification, and forecasting. They operate with a clear owner mindset, make sound business decisions, and thrive in environments that reward accountability, speed, and execution. Experience navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, partnering closely with global product, sales, and compliance teams, and representing the business credibly with senior customers is essential. Mandarin-speaking capability is highly preferred.

Michael brings more than two decades of experience selling and advising on SaaS solutions within Financial Crime, risk, and compliance environments. Over a 25-year career, he has held senior commercial and technical leadership roles across the full enterprise software lifecycle, including CRO, sales leadership, M&A, strategic partnerships, new business development, client management, professional services, and technical pre-sales.

He is also the co-founder of TruNarrative, a financial crime technology company that was successfully acquired by LexisNexis Risk. This entrepreneurial journey strongly shapes his leadership style today — one that balances commercial rigor with long-term value creation.

As a leader, Michael empowers his regional executives to operate with ownership and autonomy, while providing strong support and clear expectations. He is passionate about building and scaling businesses, developing high-performing teams, and creating environments where confident, accountable leaders can thrive.
